All Weekend Long

🎨 Pink Palace Crafts Fair (Pink Palace grounds, 3050 Central Ave.)
The 54th annual fair brings artists and makers from across the region. Free shuttle from U of M Lot 46.

  • Friday–Sunday: 10 AM to 5 PM. Advance tickets $10 adults, $8 seniors/military, $3 ages 5–12, under 5 free ($12/$10/$5 at the gate)

🏮 Asian Night Market (Agricenter International, 7777 Walnut Grove Rd.)
Year four of the food, vendor and performance night market, with KAZHA headlining.

  • Saturday: starts at 4 PM

  • Sunday: runs until about 7 PM

  • $15 for ages 13+ ($20 for a two-day pass), $5 ages 6–12, under 6 free. Parking is $10

🎸 Gonerfest 23 (Wiseacre Brewing; Overton Park Shell)
Memphis' garage-rock institution takes over the weekend, with late-night afterparties at B-SIDE and Bar DKDC (see Live Music below). There's a free livestream, too.

  • Friday and Saturday: at Wiseacre Brewing, $70/day wristband. Friday's lineup runs from 1:30 PM to a 10:30 PM close with Toody Cole & Her Band; Saturday closes with Death at 11 PM, with Henry Rollins as MC

  • Sunday: free finale at the Overton Park Shell, 5:30 to about 9:30 PM: Gwenifer Raymond, Jack Oblivian, Cloudland Canyon with Kid Millions and Man or Astro-man?

🦁 Zoo Boo (Memphis Zoo)
Halloween at the zoo, and this weekend only gets two nights.

  • Friday: 6 to 9:30 PM (last entry 9), $23 ($20 members)

  • Saturday: 6 to 9:30 PM (last entry 9), $23 ($20 members)

🖼️ Brooks Museum: Last Weekend in Overton Park (Brooks Museum)
The museum closes its Overton Park home after Sunday, and admission is free for Shelby County residents through September.

  • Friday: Come As Thou Art, a Broadway musical masquerade ball and runway, 7 to 10 PM ($25 general admission, $95 VIP)

  • Saturday: Super Saturday drop-in art, 10 AM to noon (free)

  • Sunday: final day, 11 AM to 5 PM, with a guided tour (2 PM), Figure Drawing (2 PM) and Junk Journal Jam (3 PM)

🎭 Twelfth Night (Theatre Memphis, Next Stage)
Shakespeare's comedy runs through Oct. 4.

  • Friday: 7:30 PM

  • Saturday: 7:30 PM

  • Sunday: 2 PM matinee

🏃 Navy Mid-South Half Marathon Weekend (Millington)
Two days of races on the naval base side of Millington.

  • Saturday: 5K at 8 AM and Family Fun Mile at 9 AM, N82 Gym (7915 Memphis Ave.)

  • Sunday: Half Marathon at 6 AM and 10K at 6:10 AM, USA Stadium (4351 Babe Howard Blvd.)
