Last updated August 2026. Schedules change — always confirm with the school before you drive.

🔴 Games to Circle

Christian Brothers at MUS — Friday, Oct. 23, Stokes-Alston Stadium. The two schools first met in 1894 at Citizen's Park, making this the oldest high school football rivalry in Shelby County and one of the oldest in the South. Their campuses sit less than four miles apart on Walnut Grove and Park. It's also a Division II-AAA region game and MUS's senior night.

Germantown at Houston — Friday, Aug. 21. The Germantown city rivalry, in Week 1, and a genuinely loaded opener: Houston is the 2023 state champion, and Germantown is debuting Duron Sutton, who left Ridgeway after 16 seasons.

Melrose at Memphis Central — Friday, Aug. 21. Two of the oldest programs in the city, opening against each other at Crump Stadium — and Melrose's first game under Cedrick Wilson Sr., the Orange Mound native and Super Bowl champion who came home to coach his alma mater.

Whitehaven's whole September. Stan Collins is back on Elvis Presley Boulevard after 30 years away, and the schedule doesn't ease him in: at Houston Aug. 28, at Germantown Sept. 11, at Southaven Sept. 18, at Munford Sept. 25.

Bartlett at Arlington — Friday, Oct. 30. The regular-season finale for both, with Region 7 seeding hanging on it.

Booker T. Washington at Manassas — Thursday, Oct. 15. Two of the most historically significant Black high schools in Memphis, now region opponents in Class 1A.

West Memphis at Marion — Friday, Oct. 9, Southern Bancorp Stadium. Crittenden County's night of the year. Marion took the 2025 meeting.

Munford at Brighton — Friday, Oct. 16. The Tipton County rivalry, and since the 5A realignment it's a region game with playoff seeding attached.

Manassas at Trezevant — Saturday, Aug. 29, 6 p.m. The only Saturday high school football game in Memphis all season.

Collierville's opener — Saturday, Aug. 22, 6 p.m. vs. East Nashville Magnet. The other Saturday oddity, and the metro's only Week 1 Saturday game.
