🎂 The Shell's 90th Shellebration (Overton Park Shell)
The Shell opened in 1936, and it's throwing itself a three-day birthday party. Every show is free. Bring a blanket, a chair, and the dog.
Friday: Birthday Picnic with the Memphis Youth Symphony, 12 to 2 PM, with food trucks and BYO picnic
Saturday: Sounds of the Shell, 7 to 9 PM, nine decades of Shell music with Will Sexton, Amy LaVere, Al Gamble, Kelley Hurt, Joe Restivo and more
Sunday: The Gathering with Evvie McKinney and the Tennessee Mass Choir, 12 to 3 PM, then the Memphis Studio Super-Set, 7 to 9 PM, with artists from Stax, Sun, Royal and more
🏈 Southern Heritage Classic (Liberty Park)
The 37th Classic brings Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Alcorn State to Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. Our full guide has tickets, parking, and the parade route.
Friday: College and Career Fair, 8:30 AM to 2 PM at the Memphis Sports and Events Center (free)
Saturday: Tailgate opens at 8 AM, the parade rolls down Park Avenue at 9 AM (free), Battle of the Bands at 10 AM at Whitehaven High, and kickoff at 6 PM, with the 5th Quarter band showdown after the game
⚾ Redbirds vs. Norfolk Tides (AutoZone Park)
It's the final home series of 2026. Tickets start at $9.01 every game.
Friday: 7:05 PM
Saturday: 6:05 PM, Grizzlies Day. The first 5,000 fans get a Grizzlies-themed Redbirds jersey, Isaiah Stewart throws out the first pitch, and there's a plaza party with Grizz at 4:30 PM
Sunday: 1:05 PM, the last home game of the year, with Kids Run the Bases after the final out
🎪 Germantown Festival (Germantown Civic Club Complex, 7745 Poplar Pike)
Around 400 artisans, a kids zone, car exhibits, and a live stage both days. Admission and parking are free, with shuttles running.
Saturday: 9:30 AM to 6 PM, with the Running of the Weenies dachshund race at 11:30 AM
Sunday: 12 to 6 PM
🎡 The Delta Fair (Agricenter International)
Last call for rides, a circus, a grizzly bear show, and fried everything. Gate admission is $15 for adults, $10 for kids and seniors.
Friday: ride wristbands are $31
Saturday: 11 AM to 11 PM, wristbands $36
Sunday: 11 AM to 10 PM, the final day
🎬 Like You Children's Film Festival (MoSH, 3050 Central Ave.)
Three days of kids' films from around the world, plus filmmaking workshops and Q&As on the giant screen. Single tickets are $12 for kids, $15 for adults.
Friday: opening night with the animated Space Cadet
Saturday: 9 AM to 5 PM
Sunday: 9 AM to 5 PM
🎤 8Ball & MJG and Bun B with the Renaissance Orchestra (Orpheum Theatre)
Memphis rap royalty backed by a full orchestra, two nights in a row.

⚒️ Metal Museum's first public day at Overton Park — 11 AM to 5 PM at 1930 Poplar Ave. ($10 adults, $5 kids)
