901 Day is Tuesday, Sept. 1, but the party starts Friday. So we rounded up every event, deal, and free museum day in Your 2026 Guide to 901 Day in Memphis.
Five days of party. The fun starts Friday with a Trolley Night kickoff on South Main. Saturday is stacked: Wiseacre's birthday bash, roller derby, and a vintage market. Then Sunday, the massive 901 on Beale festival takes over downtown with 300+ Memphis artists and a wing contest.
Free 901 things. 901 Day falling on a Tuesday means free museum day: the Memphis Zoo is free for Tennessee residents, and the Rock 'n' Soul Museum and more join in.
Nine dollars, one cent. On 901 Day itself, the Redbirds host Durham with $9.01 tickets and the citywide $9.01 deal tracker is filling up as businesses announce.

🍔 Brookhaven Pub's New Dining Room Is Open
Brookhaven Pub & Grill
After a summer of hammering, Brookhaven Pub & Grill in East Memphis has reopened its remodeled dining room.
Worth the wait. The neighborhood favorite kept its famous patio open all summer while crews rebuilt the inside: a bigger game room, higher ceilings, and a fresh look. The whole project wrapped just in time for football season.
Best seat in the house. That means TVs galore, cold drinks, and those famous chicken tenders in a brand-new dining room. Open daily 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. at 695 W. Brookhaven Circle (21+ after 9 p.m.).

🛍️ A Giant Vintage Market Takes Over Crosstown Saturday
Memphis Vintage Market
The Memphis Vintage Market returns to Crosstown Concourse this Saturday, and it's free to browse.
Old is gold. Local and regional vendors fill Crosstown Theater with vintage clothes, jewelry, home goods, and collectibles. Come for one perfect find, stay for the afternoon.
Seven hours to shop. Doors are open Saturday, Aug. 29, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 1350 Concourse Ave. Pro tip: the best stuff goes early.

🍺 Wiseacre Brewing Turns 13 With a Beer Swap and a Free Party
Wiseacre Brewing Co
WISEACRE Brewing Co. turns 13 on Saturday, but the birthday presents are for you.
Their birthday, your gifts. The first 100 people who bring in leftover light beer can trade it for a free 6-pack of Sky Dog lager (one per person). Sky Dog drafts are $3 all day, and they're releasing a new birthday beer called Sky D'Apple.
Lucky 13. The free party runs 1 p.m. to midnight at the original Broad Avenue taproom (OG), 2783 Broad Ave. Three bands close out the night, starting with Melinda at 8 p.m.

🔌 Hang in there, Memphis. Saturday's storm knocked out power to 140,000 homes at its peak — the 7th most damaging storm in MLGW history — and around 74,000 were still dark Sunday night. All MSCS schools are closed today (Collierville starts 2 hours late), and the city has opened community centers at Gaston Park, Orange Mound, and Marion Hale for families who need them. Dial 211 for help. MLGW hopes to restore most power by Thursday evening.
🏆 Top of the map.. Memphis was just named the No. 1 road trip destination in the U.S. in a new study spotlighted by Travel + Leisure. The secret? Light traffic, easy interstate access, and — of course — the music and barbecue waiting when you park.
🐯 Big cats, big test. Fresh off a season-opening win, Memphis men's soccer hosts powerhouse North Carolina tonight at 7 p.m. It’s the first time the Tar Heels have ever played in Memphis. It's a Wear White night with free t-shirts for the first 150 fans, plus inflatables and face painting for the kids.
🎶 Alley-oop. Alley Dayz returns Wednesday night from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Barboro Alley downtown. It's free, with live music from Preauxx and DJ Zetta plus local vendors like Cxffeeblack and River City Records.
🐭 Oh, Toodles. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Exhibit leaves the Children's Museum of Memphis on Sept. 6 — that's just two weekends away. It's the first-ever museum exhibit based on the show, it's included with regular admission, and the kids will love getting to help plan Pluto's surprise birthday party.
💛 Three million reasons. The Hyde Family Foundation just awarded more than $3 million to 23 Memphis groups - over half going to schools, teachers, and career programs. The foundation has now invested more than $300 million in Memphis since 1992.
🧶 Sew nice. Bring your yarn, fabric, and tools to the Dixon Gallery and Gardens on Thursday for Fiber Arts Open Studio. It's free, open to ages 16 and up, and happens every fourth Thursday.
🎬 Lights, camera, Collierville. Hallmark named Collierville a top-25 finalist for its Merriest Christmas Town of 2026. The competition’s winning town will become the set of a real Hallmark holiday movie. With a quarter-million lights on the Town Square every December, we like their odds. Vote daily through Sept. 4.
