Good morning, Memphis! ☀️
We know. It's Monday, it's dark at 5 p.m. now, and your body still thinks the time change was a prank.
The good news? You won't be bored in the dark tonight. Three Memphis basketball teams are playing, and there's a whole lot to plan for the rest of the month.
Here's what’s in today’s issue:
🏀 Lights on: Tigers men, Tigers women and the Grizzlies all play tonight.
🗳️ Big day tomorrow: How many neighbors already voted? It's a lot.
🍽️ Save the date: A week of Downtown dining deals starts next Monday.
⛳ Fore the future: Why Audubon is about to get a lot more kids on the course.
💜 Care for the caregivers: A Memphis group that's helped families since the '80s.
Let's get into it.

⛳ Memphis Is Building a $7.5 Million Home for Young Golfers at Audubon

Loren Roberts Clubhouse Rendering
Good news for young golfers! The City of Memphis is putting $7.5 million into the new Loren Roberts Family Clubhouse and Learning Center at The Links at Audubon. It'll be the permanent home of First Tee Tennessee–Memphis, where kids as young as 5 learn the game.
🏌️ Fore-ward thinking. Plans include a junior golf short course, a FedEx Skills Lab and a First Horizon Financial Literacy Academy, so kids build money skills along with their swing. The lobby will honor Memphis golf greats, and it's set to open in fall 2027.
🤝 Team effort. FedEx, the Brad Martin family, Bill and Amy Rhodes and First Horizon each pledged $1 million. The clubhouse is named for Loren Roberts, a 21-time pro tournament winner who moved to Memphis in 1992.
