✈️ Clear for Takeoff: New Aviation School Coming to Millington

Millington's long aviation history is about to gain an exciting new chapter.
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) Memphis is building a brand-new, state-of-the-art aviation technology school right beside the Millington-Memphis airport.
This isn't just a minor project - we are talking about a $30+ million investment into a 60,000+ square foot building, dedicated to training the next generation of aircraft mechanics and aviation pros.
The city has long been home to Naval Support Activity Mid-South and already has significant aerospace infrastructure.
If successful, the school could become another piece of Millington's long-term economic development strategy while giving students across the region another pathway into an industry that's expected to remain strong for decades.
