Good morning, Memphis! ☀️
There are now so many drive-thru coffee chains opening around Memphis that we're only a few months away from needing traffic circles just for caffeine.
Here's what's brewing today.
Development
🏨 A $63 Million Makeover Could Be Coming to Downtown's DoubleTree

Former DoubleTree Hotel on Union Ave
One of Downtown Memphis' most recognizable hotels could be getting a second life. A development group is proposing a $63 million renovation of the DoubleTree by Hilton, but the project hinges on reaching an incentive agreement with the City of Memphis.
Plans call for a major overhaul of guest rooms and public spaces.
The investment would add to ongoing efforts to revitalize Downtown hospitality.
Developers are asking the city to partner on the project before moving forward.

☕ Seven Brew Keeps Expanding Around Memphis

Seven Brew Coffee
If it feels like there's a new Seven Brew popping up every time you leave the house... you're not imagining it. The Arkansas-based drive-thru coffee chain continues to expand across the Memphis metro, with new stands approved, under construction, or planned from Arlington to Collierville.
Arlington leaders recently approved the town's first Seven Brew, adding another fast-growing retail destination along the community's expanding commercial corridor.
Millington's location is nearing completion and is expected to open soon, bringing the chain's signature drive-thru model to North Shelby County.
Collierville is on track to get yet another Seven Brew location this year, underscoring just how quickly the brand has gained a foothold across the Memphis suburbs.
It's the latest sign that the "coffee wars" around Memphis aren’t slowing down.
Lakeland

Salon 387 offers haircuts, coloring, styling, extensions, and other professional beauty services for women, men, and children.
The move reflects Lakeland's continued commercial growth as more locally owned businesses are choosing to invest in the rapidly expanding suburb.
