Good morning, Memphis! ☀️
The fireworks are over, the leftovers are gone, and Memphis has returned to its regularly scheduled programming: sweating through your shirt before 9 a.m.
This week is packed with events. Let's get you caught up.
Festivals
🌯 The Nation’s Largest Food Festival Is Coming to Memphis

Calling all food lovers! Cancel your dinner plans for August 21–23.
FoodieLand, which bills itself as the nation's largest food festival, is making its Memphis debut, bringing more than 250 food vendors, live music, games, and flavors together for one delicious weekend.
Whether you're craving street food, barbecue, desserts, seafood, or something you've never heard of (but is supposedly famous on TikTok)… chances are you'll find it at FoodieLand.
The event is designed to celebrate local businesses alongside international cuisines, making it part food crawl, part night market, and part community festival.
The festival will run Friday, August 21 through Sunday, August 23 at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. Tickets must be purchased prior to the the event. You can buy them here.
Memphis History
📸 Memphis History in 60 Seconds

You probably know it as the "Old Bridge," but how much do you actually know about it? Local photographer Connor Ryan recently shared a short video diving into some history of the iconic Memphis-Arkansas Bridge, offering a fresh perspective on a landmark thousands of us pass without thinking twice.
It's a quick watch that reminds you every corner of Memphis has a story behind it.
