Good morning, Memphis! ☀️
Some people start the holidays after Thanksgiving. Some start the day after Halloween. If you’re in the second group, this issue is your love language. We’ve got a holiday crafts market, Santa’s mailing address and a winter coat drive for kids.
Let's get into it.

Image: Choose901
Holiday shoppers, mark your calendar! The Memphis Crafts & Drafts Festival: Holiday Market is Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Crosstown Concourse (1350 Concourse Ave.).
🛍️ Shop small. Local makers and artists will sell handmade gifts, so you can check a few names off your list early. It's free to get in and family-friendly. The market is hosted by the Memphis Flyer.
🍻 Hoppy holidays. Local craft beer is part of the fun, and Crosstown's restaurants have you covered for food. Last year's market drew thousands of shoppers, so we'd get there early.

🎬 Maria Montessori School Hosts a Toy Story 5 Family Movie Night

Here's a fun night out for the whole family. The Maria Montessori School in Harbor Town (740 Harbor Bend Rd.) is showing Toy Story 5 at its November 7th family movie night.
🤠 To infinity and beyond. Toy Story 5 hit theaters in June, so this is a great chance to catch it again with the kids.
🏡 Neighborhood night. The school sits right in Harbor Town on Mud Island, and has it’s own amphitheater. It's a perfect excuse to grab your crew and get cozy for a movie.
The event is free, but bring a canned food donation to support local families in need.

🐾 It's Animal Shelter Appreciation Week: Meet Muriel, Our Adoptable Pet of the Week

This week is all about thanking the people who care for Memphis' homeless pets. Animal Shelter Appreciation Week runs Nov. 1–7, and a great way to celebrate is helping Memphis Animal Services.
🐶 Meet Muriel. Muriel is a playful 3-year-old, 42-pound girl who loves toys, belly rubs and car rides. She's crate trained and gets along with other dogs. She's been in MAS's care since December 2024, so she's waited almost two years. She lives with a foster, so reach out to MAS to meet her.
💛 More ways to help. Adult dogs and cats are $50 to adopt at 2350 Appling City Cove, and that includes spay/neuter, shots and a microchip. Can't adopt? You can foster, volunteer or drop off items from the shelter's wish list, like blankets and towels.
See all the adoptable pets here.
