Good morning, Memphis. ☀️

Today is National Hot Dog Day, which means it's the one day of the year ketchup and mustard become personality traits.

In today's edition:

  • 🥞 A breakfast pop-up worth waking up for

  • ⛳ Kids score big at the FedEx St. Jude Championship

  • 🏢 An East Memphis landmark hits the market

  • 🐶 This week's adoptable pup

…plus hot dogs, HYROX, trinket trading and more.

Let’s get into it.

Food

🍳 Butteryolk Is Back With Another Breakfast Pop-Up

If your ideal Saturday morning starts with a fluffy, buttery breakfast sandwich instead of an alarm clock, you'll want to set a reminder.

After selling out at previous events, butteryolk is hosting its third breakfast pop-up this Saturday, serving its signature breakfast sandwiches with a new preorder system designed to keep the lines moving.

Here's what to know:

  • When: Saturday, July 18, from 8–11 a.m. (or until sold out).

  • Where: 523 S. Main St. in Downtown Memphis (DVOUR Desserts)

  • Skip the wait: Guests can pay and reserve a pickup window through HotDrop, customize their sandwich in advance, and have it made fresh for pickup.

Coffee and specialty drinks will also be available from DVOUR while you wait… or while you pretend you're just there for the caffeine.

Family Fun

Kids Get In (and Eat!) For Free at the FedEx St. Jude Championship

FedEx St Jude Championship

The FedEx St. Jude Championship is one of Memphis' biggest annual sporting events. This year it's becoming one of the city's best family outings, too.

  • Tournament officials announced that two children 15 and under receive free admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult.

  • Even better? They'll also receive unlimited complimentary food and beverages at select concession locations throughout the course.

  • The First Tee of Tennessee-Memphis is sponsoring the youth ticket program for the first time in 2026.

Whether your kids are future PGA stars or just want to chase down some autographs, this year's tournament is becoming one of the best values on Memphis' event calendar.

Real Estate

🏢 Clark Tower Is Officially On the Market

One of East Memphis' most recognizable skyline fixtures could soon be changing hands.

Clark Tower has officially been listed for sale, making it one of the largest commercial real estate listings in the city in recent years.

The 34-story office tower has been an East Memphis landmark since the early 1980s and remains one of the tallest buildings outside of Downtown.
